BRCA2 gene is located on chromosome 13q12 and also classified as a tumour suppressor gene; though shares no homology with the BRCA1 gene. However, it can bind with BRCA1 to participate in DNA damage response pathway. BRCA2 protein functions as a mediator of the core mechanism of homologous recombination. Its mutations are linked to breast carcinomas that are ER and PR positive. Though rarely associated with basal-like phenotype but still linked to a higher grade (II or III) when compared to age-matched sporadic cases
INR monitoring is normally managed by local anticoagulant clinics but, with appropriate training, self-management using a portable coagulation monitor (eg, CoaguChek® S system) can be safe and reliable and much more convenient for many patients. A worrying trend is for patients to buy monitors directly from the manufacturer and use them without proper training. It is hoped that the manufacturers can be engaged to encourage patients to discuss the options with their GP prior to purchase. A recent study found that PSM was as clinically effective as conventional care. [ 15 ] It is not deemed cost-effective in the UK compared with usual care, due to the increased frequency of testing but it is recognised that it may improve quality of life in highly motivated individuals who do not have time to attend clinics.
Research has shown that elevated blood glucose levels and excess fat, particularly belly fat, has been linked to dementia, foggy thinking and Alzheimers disease. Svetol targets the body’s fat, helping the body use it for energy rather than carbohydrates. Also, nutrients containing high levels of ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbing Capacity) have stopped memory loss and reversed motor deficits. Acai has 16 times the ORAC of Red Grape seed. The combination of these two ingredients work together to maintain blood glucose level and repair damage to the brains neural pathways.
